8 count.

Can you picture what TRUST means for you?

If you were to ask me in high school, I would have described exactly these things to you:

As a cheerleader – you trust your bases and flyers, those who tumble before and after you, the person next to you to be spaced away from you correctly, lines to be spot on, and dances to work different moves all in one… (bases need to be trusted for obvious reasons. Flyers can lift themselves as well, making the job easier on the bases – not holding someone who just stands on their hands. Psh, can’t tell you how many times legs have been bumped due to spacing, and a huge moment during competition where someone tumbled into a stunt group, knocking all bases down and preventing the flyer to have anyone to catch her. Talk about shoe burn down some faces!)

My entire work out through school years was gymnastics or cheerleading. So starting back up, doing it all on my own is pretty foreign!

Today, if you told me to describe trust, I would describe this:

In ways, the two quite figuratively go hand in hand.

So, obviously, I don’t physically lift Brady, nor does he lift me either. (I like the ground, thank you!)

Maybe we should though, in a figurative sense.

Throw out those negatives (basket toss them with no intent to catch!)

Lift each other high enough until each feels full of belief and rid pain. When we have a shaky day, grab their arms as they “noodle” above their head – help to steady them with added support. When timing is off, count for them. Override the voices in their head that tell them to go at the wrong times. Watch out for them, tell them when it’s safe.

Trust your love. Trust your spouse. Trust your partner. Trust their word, while be loyal, honest, and guiding with your words.

I’m a roundabout sense, that’s what your vows are all about!❤️

How do you love someone that’s hurt so bad?
Even 911 ain’t got a thing to help them
How do you mend a wound that cuts straight through their heart?
And you can see that everything that’s left, just ain’t enough.

I know we did some damage
Nobody else understands it
Well baby, here’s my shoulder you can lean on
And it’s 24/7 –
Whenever you need a friend,
I wait on standby, and I won’t ever leave

In case of emergency.

How do you love someone who sees the past,
But can’t seem to change, or keep repeating their mistakes from wayback?
How do you love someone who sees the bad in everything?
Drinking from a half-empty glass, thinking suicide
Only ones we hurt are ourselves, and I don’t know why…

I know we did some damage
Nobody else understands it
Well baby, here’s my shoulder you can lean on
And it’s 24/7 –
Whenever you need a friend,
I wait on standby, and I won’t ever leave

In case of emergency.

I wouldn’t leave you in darkness.
Weren’t I always here when you needed me the most?
I will walk with you through all your flames,
Step away from borderline, you know what’s done is done
You don’t need to worry…

In case of emergency
In case of emergency,
Emergency, emergency
In case of emergency, in case of emergency ❤️🚑
